Details of the trade are still unknown. maybe for a 5th and a 6th? maybe just a 5th. I'll update the mock boards once its known. |
Re: Moulds to Texans
The Texans BETTER take Brick with that pick if they want to have someone living to get him the ball.

Re: Moulds to Texans
I'm so relieve to hear this news. The Eagles will now have to look harder for a productive WR. Looks like the Eagles are less of a threat to NFC this year.

Re: Moulds to Texans
I agree. I think they'll be better, but still in the cellar of the division this year. A good team does not a healthy McNabb make.

Re: Moulds to Texans
The Texans will still lose until they get an o-line. They can have Dom Davis and Reggie Bush in the backfield with Moulds and plenty of other WRs going deep, but when Carr ends up buried in the turf constantly, their talented backs and receivers won't do them any good. I personally think they should trade their #1 pick for a couple of offensive linemen, or some lower picks they can use to build up their line and save $$ by not paying a #1 pick. Carr would be a great QB if he wan't on his back all of the time.

Re: Moulds to Texans
Exactly. I'd really try and trade off that pick and stockpile offensive linemen.

Re: Moulds to Texans
I don't understand why the Texans did not address the O-line in Free Agency by signing one or even two proven seasoned veterans like Hutchinson from Seattle for example. That way they could have filled in some of the weaker spots late in the draft where normally some good linemen can be found. With the veterans acquired in FA, they could have provided valuable leadership to current linemen and developed the young kids into one heck of a line and still held onto that #1 pick.
As it stands, they signed only one veteran lineman (Flanagan) at ther center position. But the coach is Gary Kubiak who knows what it takes to build a solid offensive line coming from Denver after ten years. I guess he just sees something no one else sees in existing personnel there and feels most of the problem has to do with coaching. Capers was a defensive minded coach, and never could field an "offensive juggernaut". I wish them luck none the less. |
Re: Moulds to Texans
yeah, like i have said before, they could have o.j. simpson and g sayers in their primes and their line still sucks.in the best interest of their franchise they should be trading down

Re: Moulds to Texans
i hope they don't fix their o-line problems. I hope our d-line obliterates them this year. Don't forget guys we play them sometime next year. As of right now they are a sworn enemy.

Re: Moulds to Texans
I really thought Moulds would have been a top target for the Eagles.
Are they really happy with their current WRs?? |
