In retrospect...

Which player(s) had absolutely no business stepping on the field for the 'Skins last year?

Re: In retrospect...

I'll be the first to chip in. In no particular order.

Nic Clemons
Pierson Prioleau
Cory Raymer
Antonio Brown

I can't say much about Nic Clemons since he basically never got on the field.
Prioleau actually did pretty well in my mind. Cory Raymer was god awful in pass protection. Antonio Brown shouldn't have been on the field but thank God he was. Without him we probably would have lost to Arizona and possibly been kept out of the playoffs.

I'd add to that list Taylor Jacobs.

Re: In retrospect...

Nic (#90) seemed to play every game. And what a bum he is. Cut the cord Coach Williams!

Yeah, I thought Prioleau was a great pickup. He played well at both safety and CB. He absolutely should have been on the field.

Re: In retrospect...

No... Pierson was all over the field last year. he was even our nickle corner when our CB's were injured. He had some problems, but he held his own.

Im going to add John Hall to the list.

Re: In retrospect...

I'd say 3 sacks and a forced fumble along with 38 tackles is halfway decent for a reserve player.

I think you're backwards on these two.
I think you're backwards on these two.
Interesting but, sacks don't consider you a better DB. Does it? And for every tackle he had was for how much gain?

Re: In retrospect...

Didn't you know he retrieves the kicking tee after every kickoff?

724Skinsfan 04-17-2006 02:21 PM

Re: In retrospect...

Well, no definitely not a stat category I would base my comparisons of two DBs but even looking at the number of tackles shows Prioleau having significantly more impact than Stoutmire.
