Re: Jets | Rumor alert: NFL Draft trade
There needs to be another late pick going to the Jets, or they're stupid.
The Jets already have 7 of the first 120 picks, they can really load up this year. |
Re: Jets | Rumor alert: NFL Draft trade
Doesn't that seem kinda high to take Ngata. I mean, I think he's good, but not 7th overall good. Could be wrong.
|
Re: Jets | Rumor alert: NFL Draft trade
So, I take it they're happy with Ramsey and Pennington?
|
Re: Jets | Rumor alert: NFL Draft trade
listed as a rumor, what else the jets may be getting obviously wasn't including, but it must be something.
ngata may go at #8 (talentwise he's in the top 8), but if the bills choose bunkley instead, ngata will go no lower than the browns at 12 and the ravens may trade up to get him. anyways, i don't really think its legit, cause the titans will get their pick at QB, the raiders don't want cutler, and whoever is left at #4 will be there at #7 unless someone else trades up... |
Re: Jets | Rumor alert: NFL Draft trade
Why don't the Raiders want Cutler?
|
Re: Jets | Rumor alert: NFL Draft trade
Why we talkin about the Jets?
|
Re: Jets | Rumor alert: NFL Draft trade
Nevermind! Someone is going to mention that it is the offseason, and they are right there is not much else to talk about
Why we talkin about the Jets?
Because when you consider our recent history with the Jets, chances are whoever they draft will be a Redskin by 2009 |
Re: Jets | Rumor alert: NFL Draft trade
Didnt look at it from that perspective TAFKAS. Does anyone in here listen to the NFL Network on SIRIUS? Seems like people are always calling in about the Jets, after a while i turn it off cause im sick of hearing about the damn Jets
Why don't the Raiders want Cutler?
No one knows what the Raiders think about Cutler. But we do know that they like Leinart and Young. |
Re: Jets | Rumor alert: NFL Draft trade
I would predict that barring getting a huge steal at 7, (like a leinart), the Raiders will do the unpredictable. Some predictions at that are Haloti Ngata, Brodrick Bunkley, Ernie Sims, Winston Justice, or Jay Cutler.

Re: Jets | Rumor alert: NFL Draft trade
The Jets do love drafting D linemen
|
Re: Jets | Rumor alert: NFL Draft trade
Here's a doozy of a rumor for you (per the San Fransicso Chronicle, if I remember right):
The Saints and Jets would swap positions, allowing New Orleans to select Williams at No. 4. The Jets would then trade the No. 2 pick to the Raiders in exchange for the seventh selection, wide receiver Jerry Porter and additional picks, likely future choices. That move would allow the Raiders to pick either Leinart or Young. Meanwhile, the Jets would draft offensive lineman D'Brickashaw Ferguson at No. 7, if the Packers haven't grabbed him at No. 5, then trade Ferguson's rights to the Saints. |
