Lelie feels he in now the team's No. 3 wide receiver and he wants to be No. 1. "I don't believe I'm a third wideout. I can't believe that. I'm not going to believe that until I physically prove that on the field evenly and fairly on the field," said Lelie, who Sunday, April 30, made his first public comments of the offseason. "But now I don't have that chance here." [URL="http://www.kffl.com/team/15/nfl"]Broncos[/URL] head coach [URL="http://www.kffl.com/player/1964/nfl"]Mike Shanahan[/URL] said he expects Lelie back in 2006, but Lelie has much different plans. They include him possibly staying away until deep into the regular season. The [URL="http://www.kffl.com/team/15/nfl"]Broncos[/URL] gave Lelie's agent permission to find a suitable trade partner, and it has been reported to Lelie, though he said he couldn't confirm the story, that the team turned down a third-round offer last weekend.

If you look at Lelie's stats in the past, he can catch the deep ball and that is it. Be happy you are on a Superbowl caliber team and just do your job!

Denver has a history of crybaby receivers. Lelie is no #1 receiver. He hasn't been a good #2. Why do you think Denver traded for Jevon Walker?

If he was playing like a no.#1 then he would not be in this position. Shoot if he could at least prove himself in camp and stop crying, then maybe he'd get better
