Slim picking for CB aid.

I think not until we sign our draft picks can we even attempt to bring in support for the secondary. The Skins are not in the running or capital to land Ty Law. There arent any real other options. No there are few Ahmed Plummer, Dexter McCleon, Duane Starks. All fairly old guys who would add depth, security, leadership, and opportunity if they came on board. We hold a frail and delicate CB rotation should 1 or 2 pieces be out. This has to be addressed now.I believe the focus for the draft next year for what picks well have has to be invested better with a CB to be anchored down the not so far road ahead. Next year get CB's, OL, LB and they should be good.

next year we might need a new #2 RB and starting LG... plus depth on OL and a CB for the #3 spot if nothing else.

right now we're fine at CB, we've got a #3 that started 16 games last year on a good defense. Our #4 is prioleau and the chijioke kid we got is supposed to be a #3-#4 CB type in the NFL (though rookies' first year tend to have plenty of bad spots). jimoh was actually not terrible when he had to start, but obviously his speed and lack of talent leave something to be desired (not nearly as much as a Mr. Jacobs or J. Farris however).

as far as who's available, no thanks. ty law is the only one worth considering if he wanted to work cheaply (which he doesn't), but we don't need the help anyways. a higher quality (reserve) OG is the only real hole we have right now, though ROLB is still a question mark until rocky and clemons finish the pre season.

i cant believe im saying this but jimoh actually didnt look out of place the few times he got on the field. since he has been with the redskins, he has shown steady improvement. and prioleau has made a play or 2 the few times he was out there. i think williams knows how to coach, no matter who is out there. and rogers should be taking a big step up this season

Yeah, he looked pretty good in general.

Ade's alright. I say this because I know I don't cringe whenever I see him trot out onto the field. I think we're fine as far as CB goes. The only real weak spot I see is our QB's self-propelled mobility system. The warranty is out on that piece of equipment and all of the parts have been discontinued. The only fix once it breaks is to test out the new proto-type model: JC2005

Well good to hear reassurance, Im sure Ill need to be told that again during the begining of the season. I think we will miss Clark more than we will get back from Jimoh. Our #3 spot Wright, man he better be our ace. No room for failure this year.

As long as we keep Jimoh so whenever his name is mentioned I can always sing "Jimoooah, Jimooooah" ( Like Michael Jackson wouls say Shamoone-ah ) !

I will miss Walt Harris' bum ass in the 3rd spot because he was a sure tackler. I wish Clark was still here too but i'll definitely take Acrhuletta out there.

Kenny Wright>Walt Harris x1000. He might even be a better tackler. Plus he wont buy every pump fake, and has never tripped over the computerized first down line.

wright is a very good #3, but he's only got a 1 year deal.

I think we're fine at DB. Remember that GW likes to play his safeties in nickel and dimes as well.
