Redskins Mini Camp
 

Watched Sportsnite at 10pm tonight and wanted to share what Gregg Williams thought of Andre Carter: he is a "rare genetic freak" I think we have a viable pass rusher now. Im so f-ing pumped for football season.
Anyone else have anything to add from minicamp?

we have some french dude on the roster now (LB) that (I think) gets an automatic space on our practice squad.

At linebacker, yes, Ken Harvey. At defensive end? You'd have to go back a ways. Sad really -- Giantone is probably right. Charles Mann. Fred Stokes had his moments here and there. Then there was N.D. Kalu. Then, Gramps but only based on his reputation as a Buffalo Bill -- certainly not by his actual performance as a Redskin.

How about Bruce Smith and Marco Coleman?

In 2000 Coleman had 12 sacks.

Smith had 10 sacks in 2000 and 9 in 2002.

I don't think it's too unreasonable to expect 9-12 outta Carter this year.

does anyone know if aa has played a full season? it seems like when he was with the rams, he was always injured

He's missed 8 games in 5 years. Twice he's played a full 16 games.

I don't know if I'd say that about him. He's a Workout Warrior, but most articles I've read said he doesn't look very physically imposing (not like Carter).
