Skins Ready To Make Move
This was a good article on ESPN and thought it could make for some good conversation. I did my best to reduce some but this was the best I could do. They have our season coming down to Brunell like in most other articles.

The once-dominant Philadelphia Eagles could actually finish fourth in the division. Dallas, Washington, and the New York Giants have all been busy this offseason and upgraded their personnel, while Philadelphia is just trying to get healthy and forget a disastrous 2005 season. All four teams have veteran head coaches who know how to win. We are likely to see a lot of close games that come down to coaching decisions and in-game adjustments. Bill Parcells has an excellent young defense in Dallas and a potentially strong running game, but can he protect QB Drew Bledsoe and coexist with WR Terrell Owens? Joe Gibbs has an excellent defense in Washington and a potentially potent and balanced offense, but can aging QB Mark Brunell hold up for a full season? **EDIT** Sorry firstdown, and all the readers, but we can't reprint Insider content legally. - BrudLee |

I will also promise to watch all skins games (don't tell I aready do that now)and sing our song with every score. |
Re: Skins Ready To Make Move
i will be watching too...
i agree this will be a tough division this year. besides everybody in my usatoday sports paper has the panthers getting to the superbowl and winning it, a little premature don,t ya think. and one says the division the eagles, the other 4 says the cowboys, i say wait and see want we. |
Re: Skins Ready To Make Move
Did they give any credit to OUR defense which was ranked higher than Dallas in almost every aspect?
Did they give any credit to OUR defense which was ranked higher than Dallas in almost every aspect?
Yes they gave alot of credit to Williams and said that Saunders may be our best offensive pickup this offseason. They kind of said what most on the board have been saying the past couple of months. We have all the pieces in place and if Brunell can hold up this season the skins stand a good chance at making a strong run at the SB. They also mentioned that we went 5-1 in our division last year. The only weekness they said Washington may have could be Brunells ability to keep going all season. Overall it was a very positive read and they pointed outmore weaknesses in Dallas, Eagles, and Giants.
