John Hall
Turns out the injuries that kept kicker John Hall out of 14 games the past two seasons were more serious than a pulled quad, a strained hamstring or an ailing groin. Hall had surgery in January to repair muscles that were detached from his pelvis and which apparently caused him to overcompensate on his right side, causing his series of injuries.
Hopefully he won't get hurt anymore and he will return to his old form, because he definitely should |

This is news? Haven't we known this for months?
This is news? Haven't we known this for months?
Yes your right I believe there was a thread on this or it was in a thread where it was discused. I realy don't have any worries with Hall because we had the cap room to sign another kicker and the coaching staff must have decided to keep Hall. I would think if there was a concern we would have address the problem because there where several good kickers as free agents. Do we have any other kickers to compete for the job in training camp?

Re: John Hall
is there any free agent kickers worth anything out there? and why is it so hard to find a good rookie kicker?

Re: John Hall
If Hall's leg problems really have been addressed, then I am fine with him being our kicker. No need to look around if he's 100%.

Re: John Hall
Lke I said before, we need to hole open tryouts for kicker. Perhaps there are some former-Terp kickers who need a job...

Re: John Hall
novak sucked hard... really hard, so no thanks.

Re: John Hall
class kicker if healthy, we need him to be

Re: John Hall
i agree that if john hall is healthy, we have no worries . top flight kicker, WHEN HEALTHY

Re: John Hall
Tough thing is we haven't heard much news on the progress of his rehab. When you start reattaching muscles to pelvises, I'd imagine you're talking extensive rehab. The guy is downright clutch when healthy, especially from long-range. In our tight division, we might need his clutch skills to settle some tight games. Hopefully he's getting back, and if anyone hears any news on the progress of his rehab, please post it right away because he's a bigger key to this season than we think.

Re: John Hall
One thing that I find hope in, is the fact that he had this condition and was STILL kicking off last year. I know we were all like, "Damn! Hall has lost a step." but in reality he was still getting it in the 5-10 yard range, which is pretty good for having such a condition.
