Le Newest Redskin.
 

On the Larry Michaels show today, they announced the Redskins have added another LB hopeful who hails from NFL Europe. He is a French guy Felipe Gardon #47 with the Cologne- maybe spelled wrong. Randy Thomas stopped by, Redskin Park seems to be his kitchen, then they announced we will get to see him at camp. They all laughed of course b/c he was French. I dont know when this became official and I dont know why with the stock pile of LB we have. Hopefully something is not wrong with any current guys. Alot of speculation in this but it was announced as official news.

a froggy playing for the skins? i dont like the sound of that, seems to me he'd wave the white flag after one loss....

Meaningless addition. Guys like Khary Campbell, Spencer Havner, and Robert McCune are the ones who are in a serious dogfight for roster spots at LB. This guy doesn't stand a chance, just another body in camp if you ask me.

he was actually mentioned over a month ago on one of those audio webcasts.

he's an NFL europe exemption, so he doesn't count against the 80 man limit right now. he's not abolutely terrible, but his odds of making the team are nearly nil with havner and mccune already here.

Man, I hate how people ride off the underdog...you never know if the guy has talent and a big heart.

I honestly hope he makes the team, the jokes would flow like fine wine.

"We're down 10 - look for Gordon to collabarate with the enemy."

"Look at that hit Gordon laid on that guy! He must have used the wrong fork in the pregame meal."

"You can't miss that block, Gordon! Snide remarks and clove cigarettes aren't going to win this game!"

During the Revolutionary War, a French captive of the Redcoats asked why they wore Red.

The reply by the British lad, was "We wear red so the blood doesn't show".

The French captive somehow escaped later and told his fellow French men.

Shortly thereafter, all Frenchmen were wearing brown pants!
