I missed the very beginning, but it was pretty much the same stuff he's been saying: some things are different, like salary cap, FAs, hiring of coaches, whiles other things are the same, like player personalities, hard work, love of the game. He keeps stressing that he's looking for REDSKINS, and it's character first, football smarts second, skill third. JB asked him about Parcells, and he laughed a lot about that, and stressed that the NFC east would be tough, we'll be lucky to gain a yard against Dallas, etc. He also refused to make any predictions, but he said his team would play hard every game. Pretty classic Gibbs stuff.

Everytime he speaks, I get psyched up. He just has a way of putting things: humble, yet totally competitive. He simply inspires confidence, in his own way. Man, is it September yet?!?!?!

Is it just me or does it seem that Gibbs is much looser now than when he was here before. Seems like with every press conference or interview, he cracking jokes and giving that high pitch squeal/laugh of his. Although, I see that he still likes to make like the Redskins are always the big underdog and that every team they will play are superbowl champs.... lol... the ol' Gibbs psychology at work.

I think you're right, exit, but just wait til the season starts. Gibbs really is a perfectionist who sweats the details. I think he recognizes it's a honeymoon period right now, and when the season starts, everything won't be so jolly. We'll see that worried look of his plenty.

Still, it's good to see the man clearly enjoying himself. It's a sign that it feels as right to him to be back as it does to the rest of us.

I think he could be more relaxed due to the fact that he does not need this job we need him. JKC is gone so he does not have someone breathing down his neck at all times also. He has more power on decisions and is surrounded by great people. What is there to be stressed out about at least untill the season begins.
