I think he did, or he at least caused the block and someone else scored. I know for a fact it was in Detroit.

Also an excellent way to pad a QB's numbers. It's hard to throw an incomplete pass thats a few yards in front of you. Mabye some fantasy implications?

Also, In high-school we just did those little shovel-pass/screen's up the middle instead of run plays. I can remember a few games where we didn't execute a true run play until the second half.

If nothing else it's exciting football.

saunders doesn't call the exact same play in a game, but he calls variations all the time (different form, opposite side, different shift). there are only so many basic types of plays you can run to begin with.
