Clarett makes the news again
Former OSU star Clarett arrested with guns in SUV after chase - NCAAF - Yahoo! Sports
It's pretty sad to see how far Maurice Clarett has fallen. I remember watching his first game at OSU vs Texas Tech and thinking "geez, a freshman might win the Heisman this year." Now look at him. What the hell was he thinking with all those guns and a bullet-proof vest? |
Re: Clarett makes the news again
Seems clear that he wasn't thinking.

Re: Clarett makes the news again
Exactly...he wasn't thinking.
|
Re: Clarett makes the news again
Riding around with a bullet proof vest on?
Yeah, he wasn't looking for trouble or anything. What a joke this guy is. |
Re: Clarett makes the news again
I heard the Bengals Just gave him a camp invite.
All jokes aside, this kid needs some serious mental help. He had all the talent in the world but couldn't keep out of touble. Its really sad. |
Re: Clarett makes the news again
There's video of the arrest on cnn.com right now, there's no sound for some reason.
He was driving a soccer mom sport utility wagon, which I find kind of funny. The rifle that he had looked like an AK-47, so that's pretty nuts. It seems like he was planning to rob a bank. |
Re: Clarett makes the news again
Man every 8 or so years you get a L.Phillips in the NFL just plain and simple waste of God giving talent.....
Really this losers get the chance we all would just dream to have and they just trow it away it really pisses me off |
Re: Clarett makes the news again
look up the word bonehead in the dictionary and you will see maurice claretts picture. i think even he is beyond the bengals

he could have robbed the broncos but the moron signed a deal with all incentives instead of guaranteed money because he thought he was good |
Re: Clarett makes the news again
4 loaded guns? You don't even have enough hands for all of those.
Maybe he was on the way to try out for the Cowboys. |
Re: Clarett makes the news again
He seemed like he had the potential to be a good NFL back, if he had stayed in school. But I don't think anyone in the history of American sports has ever fallen from grace as quickly as Maurice Clarett. I do feel bad for the kid. Someone needs to save him from himself.

Re: Clarett makes the news again
I find it hard to have much pity for the guy at this point. He's old enough to know better, old enough to be acting like a man and not a thug. He had the world at his feet and he flat out blew it. It's hard to feel sorry for that.

Re: Clarett makes the news again
Oh, I'm not trying to imply that he doesn't know what he's doing or that he doesn't deserve to be punished. I feel bad for him for the same reason as Strawberry and Gooden...there is something seriously wrong with them. I don't what the hell it is, but I think Clarrett is more than stupid. He needs some help, but if he wants to act like a gang banger, it'll catch up to him. You can bet on that. He deserves whatever happens to him.
I mean, Maurice Clarrett is a cautionary tale. They might as well name the rookie symposium the "Come here so you don't end up like Maurice Clarrett conference." |
Re: Clarett makes the news again
Total waste of life that will never amount to anything.......that about sums it up for me.
And no, none of this surprises me. |
