Games going to watch?
Although I like the idea of 4 straight days of football, to me, it doesn't look like there is all that much on. So, what games are you going to watching over the next few evenings? I'm really only interested in watching the teams in our division, that will give me one a day... not a bad way to get back in to seasonal couch form!

Colts at Rams

Re: Games going to watch?
just the Skins...considering it's the first weekend of preseason games (sans the HOF game), i don't really get into it until the 3rd or 4th preseason game, when the starters play more.

Re: Games going to watch?
Excellent. Didn't know there was football on all weekend.

I thought on the 3rd and 4th games, particularly the 4th, less starters play... keeping them from injuries for the regular season. Maybe one quarter's worth of play time is what they'll see. |
Re: Games going to watch?
3rd game is the key. starters usually play the first half into the 4th...4th game, you're looking to see how much depth you have, as the 2nd string plays most of the game. kinda like how many injuries can we sustain and still be ok.
the 1st 2 usually have guys that won't make the team...and it's not that i don't have interest...i just don't watch other teams in early preseason. |
Re: Games going to watch?

It really depends on the team, like in the first game this season, Brooks played all first half, because the Raiders wanted to see their new QB get more snaps. And McNabb only played one drive. Last year Brunell played till the second quarter in some games as well, so it really just depends. |

All my friends were getting really bored while I was watching the 4th quarter of the HOF game lol. |
Re: Games going to watch?
I'll start watching when the games count.
|
Re: Games going to watch?
I will watch all the skins so I can start to learn all the new names of players and who is performing well and may make the team. ETC...

Re: Games going to watch?
I think Gibbs has already strongly hinted that Campbell and Collins will get a lot of work. I don't see Brunell, Portis, Cooley, Moss, Lloyd or Randle El getting much more than a drive or two on Sunday. And our O line won't play much, because Gibbs will have that fear of a "Jansen" type injury.

Re: Games going to watch?
there is an eagles game tonight against the browns. I am going to check that one as the Eagles Starting offense (Mcnabb and Westbrook in particular) looked good against the raiders defense this past sunday. I know they may not play much but I always like to checkthe opposition out and do some scouting I guess it is the coach in me. And Obviously I will be watching the SKINS on sunday.
