Re: Report: Taylor Jacobs Traded
I don't like the fact that we have so many former 49ers, that makes me queesy.

That is weird, isn't it? So long as they don't give us back Nolan or Norval |
Re: Report: Taylor Jacobs Traded
God, if he thought Lloyd gave up during games just wait till he gets a load of TJ

Re: Report: Taylor Jacobs Traded
"But coach, they have DE's that run a 4.8 - 40, how am I supposed to get open?"
|
Re: Report: Taylor Jacobs Traded
Well cya TJ, its been a vex-filled ride. Its good now, people like farris and espy have a better shot at making the team. Rumph adds some DB depth which we also need. Honestly I would have taken like a 6th rounder for jacobs so im looking at this as a nice move

Re: Report: Taylor Jacobs Traded
From 49ers.com --
Jacobs (6’0, 198) was a second-round draft pick in 2003 and in three seasons with the Redskins he played in 38 games with seven starts, totaling 30 catches. “He’s in the middle of being a speed guy versus a possession guy,” said Nolan. “He was a high pick. Steve Spurrier coached him and was extremely high on him as a player. He caught an awful lot of balls in college and when Spurrier was in Washington, he was pretty active in the things they did. He’s a good football player and I’m anxious to see how he fits into the group we have.”
He should fit in with the 49ers quite well. If he can come back from those nasty mosquito bites, that is. |
Re: Report: Taylor Jacobs Traded
TAF, you need to get on the horn with the bosses and tell that that this MNF game is 1 min. in and I already hate that score box that they are using.
