How many think Gibbs will say: "Everythings cool. It's just preseason."

Some comments from Gibbs:

Kick coverage very poor, disappointed with special teams. Three penalties that moved us out of field goal range

Defense forcing turnovers but not capitalizing on them.

Defense doing a good job protecting short field after giveaways

Poor 3rd down conversions on offense

Offense didn't show much improvement from last week

Disappointing, long ways to go, sobering fact. Only way to fix is that is get back out there again. Really concerned

Hi Schneed!

Turnovers a big issue, though he thought the fumble should not have been fumble

Thought we'd get a great effort and play hard in front of the home crowd. No reason for that performance.

We have a good team, had a great offseason. But we play in a tough division, have a tough schedule and you have to earn it every year. The past and expectations buy you nothing.

What up Redskins_P!

Griffin should be fine, just a sprained knee. Overall, no major concerns from an injury standpoint.

All three QBs have done some good things, some things you want back

Holla at your boy Matty!

Todd will be the 2nd string QB this week

Basically, hes diapponted in the execution in all phases of the game. Isnt worried about the scheme at all. Doesn't think Griffins injury is serious. Expected a better effort than he got at home yesterday.

Just heard Coach Gibb's press conference. At the least, he seemed pretty reserved about his comments about the Defense giving up big plays and encouraged the reporter to ask the Greg Williams about their play. I remember last year, Coach Williams let the defense play without instruction for several downs to 'hang them out to dry' just to see what CB's he has. I believe that's exactly what he did last night. Now when they review the films he's able to dissect their weaknesses as well as their strengths.

I liked how they got Wright involved on that corner blitz on the first play from scrimmage, get his confidence back up.

Thanks for the info. Anyone seem to think its the VooDoo of playing the AFC since the Patriots were the last AFC team we beat three years ago and Pitt in preaseason last year doesn't count. lol

AFC of late is truly the achilles heel for this team.

Who better to be the Boss of the Bloods than the Chief Redskin Gibbs himself.
Gibbs is gangsta. Its sad we didn't play well to hear him chuckle. Thats his tell tale sign that things are gonna be alright. Laugh Joe Laugh for me.

Well, I think coach Gibbs was full hot and really the last two press conferences were some of the shortest in his second tenure. I fully expect this team to show major improvements next week in New England. I wouldn't be shocked to see the starters for a full 1/2.
