Pluto no longer a planet

Pluto is no longer considered a planet. Reducing the 9 planets to 8.

So that's official now? About 12 years ago in my Astronomy class in college I actually wrote a paper arguing that by definition Pluto did not meet the necessary requirements to be a planet. The title was something like "One Thing We Can All Agree On....Pluto is Mickey Mouse's Dog"

What does the Roman God of the Underworld have to do with anything?

Tomato, Tomahhhto. It's still a big icy rock going in a big circle around the sun, no matter what you call it. These science nerds are wasting way too much time over what to call the damn thing.

Pluto was one of my favorites, I had a Pluto jersey, god-dammit

Re: Pluto no longer a planet

Was it authentic or replica?

Re: Pluto no longer a planet

Because I found this Pluto jersey on eBay claiming it was authentic and once I got it, it looked like some poor Ethiopian kid shat it out.

It was a replithentic

I guess you suspected Pluto was going to get traded. Your bad!

Actually, it went in more of an oval around the sun. That's what did it in, the old style elite (the "classic planets") couldn't cope with Pluto (or P.O. as it likes to called) doing its own thing and they kicked it out. It really got a raw deal - it played hard, it got itself a moon or three. So what if it didn't orbit like the other planets? On game day it would show up. But nooooo, they just couldn't hack it. Their way or the highway. Pluto, however, knows what's best for Pluto - just ask the special astronomers that Pluto had shipped in to argue its case.

Just another case of the man keeping him down. No worries itself, Pluto loves itself some Pluto. It will just find some other solar system that can appreciate it specialness.

I heard P.O. signed on with a new agent, Asteroid T146 Rosenhaus to negotiate his deals.

how can you be a hold out of something you already got kicked out of?!?!

See, there's the hate. Pluto was basically ordered to get it orbit in line and chose not to do so, just cause the "planets" say he isn't on the team doesn't mean he isn't an intergral part of the solar system.

BTW - Word in space is that Pluto thinks Saturn is gay ("c'mon, damn thing has rings")and that Mars could have supported life but just wasn't up to it ("Hey, I wasn't the one that got tired when the solar system was created").
