WTF is up with CBS
 

That sucks that CBS just cutoff the jets game with one min left, it was a good game at the end, Im not even a fan of either team.

Yeah that did suck. But it's not CBS' fault. The NFL has all sorts of weird broadcast rules. One doesn't allow live bonus coverage like that go past 4:15pm. So they had to leave the game.

why would the rules prevent seeing the end of a good game? i could see if it was a blowout, but...wtf?

Fox had the double header so the rule is there to prevent the good game from siphoning off the viewers from the second game on Fox. It worsk both ways. When CBS gets it then fox can't sow coverage past 415.

Plus the Jets game wasn't in HD in NY, not that I cared since I was more interested in the filthy green-birds game.

plus they had the US Open to switch to. sure it's nothing close to the nfl but it's another scheduled program bringing in quite a few viewers. and with the nfl network, espn news, and the net it's not as big a deal as maybe back in the day. on a final note it was the jets and the titans, enough said.

Its a stupid rule, thats for sure...I'd rahter them not show the extra coverage at all to be honest; caues I was getting into that game and then it gets taken away...wtf?

I hate everything about football on CBS. from their commentators and to their presentation. FOX is the best.

Also, what's up with their sound effects? It's isn't pleasant to the hear and quite annoying.

I thought the sound effects were a glitch until they kept happening. So lame. As for the NFL rules, I do not understand them. IMO, the more they show, the more people watch, full stop. FOX wasn't going to lose much, and some other week, it would be them getting help, probably. Whatever.

who cares if people miss the first 5 minutes of a game, they aren't the important ones anyways. even though it was jets titans, it was a worthwhile two minutes to watch. I'm really not a fan of that rule/idea/whatever.

Yeah, I was watching it but they DID explain that it was an NFL rule and they showed highlights of Collins' imcompletions after they happened...they just couldn't show it live and uncut.

Stupid rule, I do agree.
