Mobile version?
I hooked up the Q a couple of weeks ago, so now I do much of my forum reading on the metro to and from work. Many sites have a mobile version, which makes it easier to read on a small screen. Is there an option like that here?
Thanks! |
Re: Mobile version?
I check this site on my mobile phone all the time. At the bottom it says something like "adjusted for your mobile screen" so maybe it's something automatic

Re: Mobile version?
I can access it and post without any problems. Some sites, however, have a special theme for mobile browsers that removes the graphics and the column widths (i.e., it lets the text wrap naturally). For example, check out these sites:
Search http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/index.php?styleid=13 The Qusers site is probably too minimal - I'm not looking to filter out information, just formatting. AVS is a better example, and I believe they use vBulletin as well. It looks like they just use a theme. |

Re: Mobile version?
You have an answer for everything, don't you? Thanks, that's a huge help! It doesn't reformat the actual posts, but finding the post I'm interested in is probably the biggest pain.
I found this skin, which appears to be free: WAP / Pocket PC skin: Mobile Alabama - vBulletin Community Forum I know nothing about installing skins on vBulletin - like it's something that risks breaking something else. Anyhow, just thought I'd throw it out there. Thanks! |

Re: Mobile version?
Great, thanks! Can you let me know what the style ID is, so I can link to it on my phone? Thanks!
