Winslow or Heap this week?
Hey guys, just thought I'd submit to your thoughts on who I should start this week: Todd Heap versus Oakland or Kellen Winslow Jr. versus Cincinnatti?
Seems like 6 one way or half a dozen the other. Heap is listed as questionable but the recent reports are favorable for him to start. Any ideas? |
Re: Winslow or Heap this week?
HEAP! Last year, it was smart to start ANYONE playing against the 49ers.
This year, Oakland is the team. :) |
Re: Winslow or Heap this week?
I thought the browns were playing Cinci.
Either way, I'd go with Heap. EDIT: Browns are playing the bengals and KC is playing denver. |
Re: Winslow or Heap this week?
Winslow had a great game in week 1, but the Browns abandoned the run for some reason. Droughns only had 20-some yards. I wouldn't count on that every week. Winslow is a great backup fantasy TE, but Heap will be more reliable. McNair likes TEs anyways, but against Oakland, every Raven could have a great week. In week #1, Baltimore's other TE (forgot his name) was the Ravens' leading receiver.

Re: Winslow or Heap this week?
I'd go with Heap too. Granted, Winslow started out well this year, but both Heap AND McNair are proven, so that's where I'd start.

Re: Winslow or Heap this week?
Heap is already listed as questionable. That guy is good but he seems really soft. Not soft like a lady or fresh laundry, but soft like a prison bitch, which is bad.

Re: Winslow or Heap this week?
I'd go with Winslow since they're more likely to be playing from behind.
The Ravens will probably just pound the heck out of the ball. |
Re: Winslow or Heap this week?
It really does come down to health though. Watch the news on Heap until Saturday night or early Sunday morning. If there's a chance he won't play, go with Winslow Jr. If both playing though, I say Heap is the better bet.
