Where went the swarminggg D!!??
 

Well good points on all sides about how this team is playing this year, but also besides the offense not getting into any sort of rhythm, i came into this season as a fan expecting our offense to show a little more consistent drives and to look better and put some points on the board. I really didn't think the D would screw us over as much as it has been. Now injuries can only go so far and i know shawn springs really would improve our D. But shit i would take Matt Bowen over Adam A right now and I swear anyone on these forums could play coverage like carlos. Where is the Defense that i used to love to watch and play. Who would gang tackle every down and wouldn't allow anyone to run through the middle. Its like we totally flip flopped. It also seems that even if we run an all out blitz a four man front could stop it. I hope we figure this out. Lets kick the shit out of Indy

WHERE IS THE BLITZ??
I think a big problem is the injury of Shawn Springs. With him being out, that forced Carlos Rogers to step it up and try to play better then he is. That also made Sean Taylor play coverage on a lot of plays, which he shouldn't be doing. He should be lurking around the field, waiting to catch someone with their head down. They should get a little better with the return of Shawn Springs, but they won't look as good as the previous years. The last couple games, Gregg Williams has said that he doesn't want the Skins to blitz, because our coverage is so terrible.

the only good player we lost on defense was ryan clark...walt harris and arrington suck, and nobody went to minnesota

Fred Smoot went to Minnesota. And Walt Harris is better than any cornerback we have right now.

The D left when our secondary left. We can't swarm without secondary protection.... come on. Is this realy that hard to figure out? Rogers BLOWS. Wrights is OK, at best. We dont' have Springs. And hot Adam is only good to look at these days...... you can't blitz without good cbs and three Sean Taylors.......
