Different types of throws Brunell vs. Campbell
With so much anticipation going towards this next game I realized that I never saw Cambell play college ball so I was wondering what are all of the throws that cambell can make that brunell can't and vice versa? Feel free to school me!

I have not seen him play either, but I read an article about him......sometime. it was authored by an independant source of some kind. Anyway, he can make all the throws from the pocket, moving around in the pcoket, and outside the pocket. Does well rolling out, etc. does good buying time, avoiding the rush. Cool under fire. That pretty much says it. TB isn't dead yet, he will need it

I do like how he described his feelings when being told he was moving to the #1 spot - "I felt like I had won the lottery". That's a pretty confident reaction in that he seems to really want this and he has little or no reservations about getting started. Excitment is good, reluctance (or fear) is bad.

Do yourself a favor and watch both of these. This is an important game against a good team, and see how poised he plays. He makes plays when he needs them, and when he makes mistakes... doesn't collapse. I like the QB cam or whatever, how they show his passes with a trailer. My fav is one play where a DT has his leg, and he breaks free, scrambles around, and finds an open receiver. |

Thanks for that. Makes me feel a little better. I am excited about next year. Just very bumbed about this year...

Campbell throws a really pretty ball. Like, at training camp Im suprised a few fans dont run out and try to catch his balls. They're a perfect spiral with nice touch.

That doesnt sound confident to me, it sounds like he thinks he got lucky and a gift just fell out of the sky. I hope JC's buggywhip delivery works in the NFL because if it doesnt its gonna be a long ugly rebuild. |

Re: Different types of throws Brunell vs. Cambell
There are a number of chances when they run a play action and are looking deep and the receivers are covered so he looks down field but seems to recognize coverage well and looks elsewhere or tucks it and runs. I can't wait until Sunday!

As a Volunteer fan I watched this game in absolute disgust because my Vols could not contain JC. As a Skins fan, these highlights give me confidence, he seems willing and able to buy time, when the rush was on him he dumped it off, otherwise he was looking downfield and completing downfield.

buggywhip delivery? Are you kidding? And he sounded excited, quit pissing on the new kids parade. Let's see, you get hired to do a job, everyone says you're the future of the company, and you get stuck as an intern for 19 months. Isn't that like hitting the lottery. And last I checked, David Carr, Philip Rivers, and Tony Romo were all doing pretty good with less than perfect deliveries. I believe Randall Cunningham even won an MVP with a similar style, and as a Skins fan I'd be remiss in not pointing out our very own Doug Williams had a very similar throwing motion. Pick on something else, throwing motion is so '90s. |

nevermind him, he rarely has anything positive to say. There's nothing wrong with JC's delivery. If Leftwich can throw in this league, anybody can. |

Speaking of which, two Sundays ago, I went to my first game at Neyland Stadium only to watch the Vols collapse against LSU. Probably the best college game I've been to. Knoxville is a great town anyway, but that was a cool experience. |

Good deal, Neyland is a great place to watch a game. Not as cool as Fedex when we beat the Cowboys by blocking a chip shot field goal, but definitely a little bigger and a lot more orange. Oh, and you are officially banned from Neyland TMC, you have to be the reason for the collapse. j/k |
Re: Different types of throws Brunell vs. Cambell
HAHA! That's what my buddy told me. My home record for games is getting pretty shitty. The Skins have lost against the Vikings and Titans this year and the Vols lost against LSU. I have to give the LSU fans credit, they were loud as SHIT.
