ESPN: Washington has surgery on left hip
 

ASHBURN, Va. -- [URL="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5088"][COLOR=#000000]Marcus Washington[/COLOR][/URL] had arthroscopic surgery on his left hip, the second operation this offseason for the [URL="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=was"][COLOR=#000000]Washington Redskins[/COLOR][/URL] linebacker.

Washington had surgery on his left elbow last month. His rehabilitation is expected to take three months, the team said Thursday, which could affect his participation when workouts resume in the spring.
