Kind of reminds me of these Shelor Motor Mile commercials for the people living in SW VA. They are the most annoying commercials in the world, but guess who sells the most cars in VA?

the new one with Ray Lew is awful. not that the others weren't...but this one especially.

I like the one where the guy is walking down the beach with his grand kids holding fishing rods like they have been fishing on the beach. The funny thing is that the fishing poles are for trolling from a boat and could never be used for surf fishing. Maybe its only stupid to me because I fish.

Actually, these guys are prefessional car commercial producers that operate throughout the South. I've heard the same script but with different dealerships.

You're right, though. Even though the commercials suck they are easily the largest car dealer around these parts. If I think [I]Car Buying[/I], Shelor pops into my head first.

And only you probably catch this one. It's some painting company and the guy comes on and is like reading his card and goes, "You tried the rest, now settle for the best."
