Washington Post (registration required): "The Washington Redskins released safety Troy Vincent yesterday, the first of what is expected to be several cap-savings measures. Vincent, 35, who was signed midway through the season, suffered injury problems with both Washington and Buffalo in 2006, and releasing him created about $1.3 million in cap space to put toward free agent spending next month."
