Barry Bonds shoe size 13
Listening to the DP show on ESPN. Along with a few other things that have grown since the suspected use of Steroids and more importantly HGH, Barry's shoe size has grown in recent years from 10.5-13. Are you FFFFNNNN kidding me, 2.5 shoe sizes?????? that does not help his not guilty arguments much.
Hmmm, I wonder if that would work on my.......?????????? |
Re: Barry Bonds shoe size 13
Maybe he hit puberty again.
Seriously though that's insane. |
Re: Barry Bonds shoe size 13
I know what you mean. I don't need tests and science to prove anything about steroid usage. His head has grown unnaturally, and unless he's diagnosed with some condition, then he's juicin'. Just look at McGwire.

Re: Barry Bonds shoe size 13
Well it's medically proven that your feet do 'grow' over the years. To be more precise, ligaments, your arch those things tend to fall and or expand with age.
So it's reasonable that he could have gone from a 10.5 to a 13...especially with all the weight his put on. Ozzie Guillen was recently asked about Barry and Big Mac. He basically said, if there guilty, then all of baseball is guilty. He said Big Mac saved baseball and there's no reason he shouldn't get in. |
Re: Barry Bonds shoe size 13
I'm not sure about all the details but no way a grown man who is 23 (the age of Bonds when he joined the MLB) and 6'2" has 10.5 in feet.
I have a hard time believing this story even though I believe he juiced up. |

Regardless of how much weight you put on your feet don't continue to grow. |

Re: Barry Bonds shoe size 13
I'm 6'2, 18 years old, and I wear a size 14. I'm not sure i believe that whole 10.5 shoe theory either.

Who was that, Nurse Betty? No, but I used to sell shoes, and I've measured many a feet. And I've seen guys come in with a 10.5 and leave with an 11.5. There's some info out there, I just don't have it at my finger tips. |

Seriously though, if someone's feet are still growing in their 30s and 40s, they probably have something wrong with them. Perhaps the people that thought they needed a 10.5 were just wearing the wrong size, or perhaps different brand sizes are slightly different? I know that I can get away with a 12.5 in some shoes, but most of them time I need 13. |
Re: Barry Bonds shoe size 13
Look at what else grew on him:
SI.com - Writers - Tom Verducci: New Shadows chapter details Bonds' freakish growth - Tuesday February 27, 2007 12:13PM from size 42 to a size 52 jersey; from size 10 1/2 to size 13 cleats; and from a size 7 1/8 to size 7 1/4 cap, even though he had taken to shaving his head. |
Re: Barry Bonds shoe size 13
Yes, 10.5 is too small.
One question, if Bonds wasn't having any beef-jerky-kool-aid, would it be possible for him increase his mass and thus outgrow his cloths to the same degree? |

But I went to a museum in Pittsburg that had an old Bonds Pirates jersey in a display case. It was so small that I don’t think I could have worn it in Jr. High. So of course I think Bonds is juicing. There just no way you grow that much just with age. It's not like where talking about his waist line. |
