Re: Dock Offered 3 Yrs 12 Million
redskins insider said 12$mill SB and 5mill per year. that's a bit different than what you're quoting. [edit: JLC opinion, not fact... real numbers will be psoted later]

If that's true, given the current market, that is a downright insulting offer. On the other hand, I'm glad we didn't give Doc "Steve Hutchinson Money". He ain't that good. |

Re: Dock Offered 3 Yrs 12 Million
if we would have offered him around 10 during the season he probably still be here

numbers later tongiht. that's his opinion on the numbers, real ones aren't up, so i apologize. you're constant pissing on the skins no matter what got to me i guess, but i spoke too soon, and those original numbers might be right. those were the numbers offered during the season though, and honestly, he's closer to being worth 4mill a year than 7mill, so i'm not really all that upset about it. he didn't want to be here - he wanted money - and he made that clear over a YEAR ago. he was very clear even on redskins.com that he was going to market no matter what, and then he'd take the best deal and run with it. |

I read the same thing that was with a 12 mil signing bonus. Doesn't mean a hill of beans at this point, he's an enemy. Dock look out when you come visit us this year!:boxing: |
Re: Dock Offered 3 Yrs 12 Million
washington post said 3 yrs total of 12 million. Not a 12 million bonus according to a team source.

where? haven't seen any report of that in the post. Per Warpath guidelines, link please.. |
Re: Dock Offered 3 Yrs 12 Million
Every report I saw said a 12M bonus or 12M in guaranteees -
If anyone had said that was the offer in November, the reaction probly would have been "Wow - that'll lock him up." There probly would've been a few "He's not worth that" remarks. |
Re: Dock Offered 3 Yrs 12 Million
Why would they only want to lock up a player of Docks age for 3 years? That report makes no sense...plus that would be a downright insulting offer.
|
Re: Dock Offered 3 Yrs 12 Million
Why is that insulting? It was offered before anyone knew how crazy the market was. I think it seems downright decent considering his talent level and what Hutch signed last year. No way the Skins knew the market would blow up.If they offered that after they knew what was going on then maybe.

Re: Dock Offered 3 Yrs 12 Million
The question to ask is, do you really truly think Doc was worth the money he got signing with the Bills?
