MaGahee to Baltimore
For 3 picks. 2 third rounders (one in '08) and a seventh. Seems like a pretty good deal for both sides.

Re: MaGahee to Baltimore
Wow -- Ozzie Newsome is a great GM -- that is a huge upgrade over Jamal.
|
Re: MaGahee to Baltimore
That is a great move by the Ravens.

Re: MaGahee to Baltimore
I'm not a huge McGahee fan, but the Ravens got him for the equivalent of a 2nd rounder (pretty good).

Now that's a FO for ya!

Re: MaGahee to Baltimore
I wonder what the Bills will do at RB now.

Doesn't matter, they now have a $49 million guard! |

My guess is they sign Sultan McCullough to a 5 year $94M deal with a $30M signing bonus. |
Re: MaGahee to Baltimore
Maybe they will make a trade to move up in the draft to land Adrian Peterson?
|
Re: MaGahee to Baltimore
Well.... OJ needs the money... maybe the Bills could lure him out of retirement.

Re: MaGahee to Baltimore
Some rumors circulating that the Bills might send some of those picks to San Diego for Michael Turner.
I defer to TheWarpath.net San Diego Correspondent Jamf for more info |
Re: MaGahee to Baltimore
turner would be a good move.

Re: MaGahee to Baltimore
I really like this move. I've always liked McGahee and the number of reasons to watch the Ravens is now growing. I'm still not sold just because I usually hate the obnoxious fans, but since I'll be moving to BMore, it might not kill me to have them on tv.

Re: MaGahee to Baltimore
I wonder what Clinton Portis' value on the open market would be today? A #2?

I would think it would be a mid-to-low 1st rounder. McGahee's trade value was hurt by the fact that it was well known that he was looking for an out. Moreover, a team that traded for Portis would have him on a long-term deal with no dead money if they chose to cut him. Although Portis' deal is a pricey one in 2006 dollars, it's not so pricey today. |
