Duckett available?
 

I really like TJ. Think it was silly to give up so much for him for 1/2 of a season. I'd love to see him resign. Any chance of Duckett coming back? Has he signed elsewhere yet?

no chance, wouldn't want him. he's not big, he's fat, and he doesn't hit the hole hard, he dances around behind the line. total waste of money and a draft pick.

On Madden as a backup he plays like a beast. Previous year in ATL thought he was a beast!? You wouldn't want him? Portis, Betts, Duckett, Sellers. Brutal lineup if ya ask me!

duckett did nothing for us at ALL last year. cartwright is better.

Any chance Duckett was playing not to get hurt last year? If he was, it looks like a really bad decision, but I can't really explain why he didn't hit the holes hard on short yardage the way he did in Atlanta. Only explaination I can think of is that he was protecting himself from injury until he could get out of DC and get a new contract.

Lol, exactly!

Duckett wouldn't want to sign here given that he'd be 3rd on the depth chart and would get as few carries as he got this year. And for the money he'll want we don't need him, the thing about Duckett is that he is big, round 250lbs but runs like a 200lbs back, doesn't use his size as effectively as he could.

If Betts is traded somewhere, he could be resigned as a backup but that looks unlikely. And i for one hope this doesn't happen.

This guy was a waste of a draft pick! Don't care what he did in ATL.
He didn't do JACK IN DC! Gettem outta here! :spank:

We have a premier back and a guy that multiple teams are trying to trade for and you want to bring back this dead weight because hs is good in Madden? WTF?

Uh, we had that last season, and Duckett never saw the field. which in my opinion was a shame. there were numberous opportunities for him to touch the ball in short yard situations, but the coaches i guess dont think he was good enought to play on this team. I tell one thing about him, he is a class guy. He never once complained about the playing time or lack there of. Always said he enjoyed playing in Washington and would do anything Gibbs asked.

there is only one ball...if they had any desire to use his skills, they would have...fact is TJ doesn't fit in Gibbs' plan

Duckett was an expensive insurance policy we didn't need last year in hindsight. That was a one shot deal, he won't be back here.

Sure he did. In the latter part of the season he had plenty of chances to play.

Just didn't do JACK withem! Good to know he's a team guy.... that can't get it done on the field.
