[FONT=Georgia][SIZE=3]Duckett will sign a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Lions.[/SIZE][/FONT]
[FONT=Georgia][SIZE=3]The maneuver gives the Lions three starting-caliber tailbacks -- Duckett, Tatum Bell, and Kevin Jones. We've previously heard that Bell, who was acquired recently from the Broncos as part of the Dre' Bly trade, is a candidate to be traded again.[/SIZE][/FONT]

Well I'm glad we were able to prove to Detroit that he wasn't worth a third round draft choice. It's ever so nice to help out when we can.

Not exactly 20/20 when 90% of the board says "Wow, what a stupid trade." A 3rd rounder for a back we never used. Oh well.

I don't recall 90% of us hating on the deal at the time. The majority liked the deal at the time.

I had mixed feelings from the go on duck, giving up a third. But our needs required taking a chance. It just didn't work.

I didn't like the trade to begin with. I was really confused when it happened seeing we had Sellers.
