JLC: We should know the status of ARCH by Wednesday.
GOLDEN ARCH, STAYIN OR LEAVIN? washingtonpost.com

Re: JLC: We should know the status of ARCH by Wednesday.
What a mess. This is why we should never bring in a player from another team and pay them such a high salary. After repeating this mistake now several times, I hope the skins have learned their lesson, be patient, build from the draft and mid to lower priced free agents. We do not have to sign the top free agents every year. The quick fix never works.
A top team/dynasty is built over years not one offseason. |

Re: JLC: We should know the status of ARCH by Wednesday.
It would more than likely be to either Denver or Chicago. YAY for more picks.

Denver - maybe AA for Bly and 2nd tound pick? |
Re: JLC: We should know the status of ARCH by Wednesday.
We'd still have to eat a lot of cap in a trade, no doubt, but still it's better than nothing. What a mess.
Let's hope they've learned their lesson! |
Re: JLC: We should know the status of ARCH by Wednesday.
I wouldn't be suprised if AA is in a deal with the 6th overall pick going to someone like Chicago or denver that has an upper 1st round pick and a player or draft picks. Either way it is still alot of money to asorb. They got to find the right team that will take his salary unless he renegotiates. I also could see Houston being involved in this as well and maybe Cleveland. This could get very interesting as the week goes on.

LOL A SECOND ROUND PICK????? Common, We'd be lucky to get just a 6th for him alone, if we can get a 5th take it an run....I dont see anyone trading for him because he will probaboly get cut then anyways and they could sign him as a FA and not have to take any cap absorbitions. |
Re: JLC: We should know the status of ARCH by Wednesday.
Sorry guys, I still see Arch here next season. Now it is up to the coaching staff to be able to utilyze him. Arch does have talent, he doesn't have the talent we need him to have. They need to teach him a new position (I still say he'd make a great LB) or figure out how to best use him in Williams system.

Re: JLC: We should know the status of ARCH by Wednesday.
If he reworked his contract and they were able to trade him for anything it would be a "Redskins Christmas" miracle! That would be the cherry on top of this offseason.
See you later 30 million dollar punt protector! Don't let the door hit you.... Let's hope that it happens. |

He let a guy go right by him. I think it was the Carolina game. Still we won but c'mon if you get paid that much to protect the punter tou ought to be damn good at it. He stunk it up. |
Re: JLC: We should know the status of ARCH by Wednesday.
the skins and archys agent are working on a way to restructure his contract so we dont take a bit cap hit which could mean hes gone.he doesnt fit our system anyway.
