I heard we're interested in him, but is he really worth the #6 overall, or we could probably still get him with a mid 1st rounder.

he'll go 12-15. he's the safest 1st round DE, but we could afford a drop down a bit if at all possible instead of picking him straight up at #6.

whos that guy? i didnt even know he was on our radar? besides, you KNOW we are gonna trade down, even though if adams is still available, i would love to see him in some burgundy and gold, whos with me?

I dont think we will use that pick b/c we might trade down w/ buffalo if the draft plays out like that

Trading down and picking up an extra day one pick and grabbing Carreker would be fine in my mind. He can play.

I'm so much more worried about the middle of the D-line. We started Golston for most of last year, and he was... servicable. We can't expect Carter (or Daniels) to have any pop if they can be doubled every time.

Unless somebody comes up with a deal for about 23 extra picks and 3 pro bowlers, nothing will happen until we're on the clock. Gotta' see who's available. THEN it will get good!

i like this guy alot...he can rush the passer and play the run, he is very athletic and big. but heres my deal, i think the more pressing need is at DT and if we are gonna take him, i suggest we take okoye instead to fill the more pressing need.......you can find pass rushing specialist throughout the draft, even if undersized they can still just play third downs.

This would be a great situation. Grab him in the middle, trade down and grab OG or CB.

If Quinn is on the board at our pick we will trade down, if we can trade down and take alan branch that is the ultimate win- win situation

I don't think DT is the more pressing need, unless the staff doesn't see any potential in Golston & Montgomery, however I like Okoye better than any of the d-linemen in the draft & I just have a feeling that he's a future star and a guy the team could build around. JLC says the coaches love him.

DE is the most pressing need w/Daniels & Wynn both in their 30s & Evans not showing he's starting material. I'd be happy if we got Carriker, Anderson or Okoye.

I really want Anderson. He's not just a pass rusher he can also string out a run and has good technique. And it's not just Quinn that teams are wanting to trade up for. Denver really wants the 6 pick and they just took Cutler last year.
