John Murphy, of Yahoo! Sports, reports free-agent RB [COLOR=black]Trung Canidate[/COLOR] (Redskins) has been in contact with several teams with an eye towards setting up workouts prior to the [URL="http://www.kffl.com/link/159"][COLOR=#0000ff]NFL Draft[/COLOR][/URL]. Canidate, who has been out of action since 2003 due to a foot injury, has received a clean bill of health and has recently been timed in the mid-4.4 range during training.

I thought Saunders was just the WR's coach in St. Louis? I guess their paths may have crossed at least once during their tenures together. Anyway, when we traded for him I was pumped to get him as well.

God remember how awful that was- Weurffel as our starting QB and Trung as our starting RB? Talk about the all-futility team.
