Meriweather vs Landry
Stay at 6 or trade down get someone else in addition to Meriweather... Meriweather is also great in coverage and went to the U, discuss...
I know portis would trade down to get Meriweather! discuss |
Re: Meriweather vs Landry
i dont even think there should be a discussion about this I would take landry in a second we dont need any more miami players and there is a reason why portis is the RB and not the GM

Re: Meriweather vs Landry
Doesn't Meriweather have a bunch of "character" issues? I love Sean Taylor, but it's hard enough making sure he keeps in line. We don't need to add Meriweather to that
If we have to take a safety, I'd say trade down and take Michael Griffin |
Re: Meriweather vs Landry
enough already

Re: Meriweather vs Landry
When did Portis or his percieved thoughts become relevant to our first round pick?
Portis is the feature back not Danny's puppet aka GM. |

If it's anything related to the draft AT ALL, you'll get the same outcome. |

Re: Meriweather vs Landry
Ive been meaning to start this thread for weeks but havent had the time. If we could trade with the Patriots, and end up with Merriwhether and a dlinemen, that would be an amazing draft.
Merriwhether has been considered to be the best safety in the league for the last 2-3 years. Every scout had him penciled in as a top ten pick until the brawl where he ran and stepped on a guy. Yes, thats a character issue, he lost his cool in that game and never should have done that, but the guy can play and his stock dropped. If you read recent mock drafts most people having him omving back up into the mid first round. Everyone here loves Sean Taylor, well Merriwhether was his counterpart when he had that amazing year in Miami. His a four year guy, lots of experience. Mark my word he'll be a starter for some team this year. |

Now, what would your evaluation of him be, and in comparison to Landry, Griffin, and Nelson. |
