What role do the owners actually play in this? I would assume they don't have any pull with the selection committee.

Think about it... we have Chris Hanburger (9 time pro bowler), Russ Grimm & Art Monk that get hosed every year.

i highly doubt this would happen, but wouldnt it be nice to have Art Monk and Darrell Green go in next year? its hard to get 1 redskin voted in much less 2 at the same time..

For as much as we hear that Dan Snyder is despised throughout the league, one has to wonder how on earth this could have happened.

He is arguably the best businessman in the NFL and he has made every other owner wealthier.
