The <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/12/nfl">[COLOR=#0000ff]Cincinnati Bengals[/COLOR] have announced they have released DT [URL="http://www.kffl.com/player/684/nfl"][COLOR=#0000ff]Sam Adams[/COLOR][/URL].

Apologies if this has been dicussed elsewhere.
Whilst not coming off a great year this is the kind of vet big body we could do with imho.

Wasn't he w/ the Bills when Gregg Williams was there? I wonder how much he has left in the tank.

I don't know how much he's got left in the tank, but Sam Adams goes down smooth with some chicken wings I'll tell you that much

Seriously though, I'd probably pass on him at this point

Vet min camp? What have we got to lose with that? Will he go for that?

may have been great for us 4 years ago, I don't know about now. Will cost too much money.

No thanks. Sam started all 16 games last year, and ended up with 14 tackles 2 sacks. We can get better production than that from Griffin, Golston, Montgomery, and Salave'a. Normally I wouldn't mind bringing someone like this in, but after looking at those stats I realized why the Bengals let him go.

Seriously though, this guy has been in the league for 14 years and has go to be just about done. I say no way.

That's the same thing people said about Alan Branch. Branch was the the sole reason guys like Leon Hall (1st rd), David Harris (2nd rd), Lamar Woodley (2nd rd) were so highly regarded (and we're not even talking about freshmen and sophomores). Having Adams will increase everyone eles's productivity. For the right price, in a rotation? Yes. If a deal is done, you know we all will be smiling.
