Decent deal. Even if you bought all that meat and potatoes at the grocery store on a [B]sale[/B] price, you'd spend about $45. And that doesn't factor in the value of the knives or cutting board.

And I assume this is gourmet stuff, right? I've never ordered from Omaha before but I assume it's better than grocery store meat.

They're premium steaks, you can't buy meat of this quality in stores.

I usually order from them a few times per year, it's well worth it especially when they offer deals like this.

On that recommendation I think I'll give it a shot. At this price it's pretty easy to justify. Plus, I don't have to spend time in the store picking out which steak looks best.

Do you have to be present to receive the shipment? I would assume you wouldn't want a bunch of meat sitting out on your porch in the hot sun, LOL.

They are individually sealed and shipped on dry ice.

Good tip. To defrost them just let them sit in the frige overnight. If they thaw too quickly they, and any other meat would too, lose a lot of moisture.

Their steaks are very high quality. The stuff you're getting it worth more than $60 becuase of the quality.

With the dry ice they stay cold as hell.

Nice, thanks for that tip. I always put my meats out on the counter to thaw when I leave for work in the morning. I'm gonna start thawing in the fridge nice and gradual like.

It is very good meat, my dad bought a bunch and there is a very noticable difference in quality when you have it.
