Countdown to Camp!
 

Just 5 days away, hard to believe! It always seems like the offseason drags on and on, but then all of a sudden camp creeps right up on you. I really can't wait to see this team on the field.

These last two weeks have just dragged. I know this week will be tough for me. I'm looking forward to this Sat. Are we still going to meet up? We have to make our presence felt in Redskins Park.

i'm up for it ;) but we need to pick a spot to meet at... do we just have an advanced scout claim something near the middle of the practice field? do we get joe crisp to bribe or use his hidden cia connections to claim us a space? i'd feel better knowing someone who has a clue (unlike me, no previous training camp experience) will be there making sure our best interests (read: good seats) are taken care of...

C'mon already. I can only watch TIVO'd superbowl highlights so many times! It's time for some new memories and this year's camp looks to be really interesting.

someone needs to start some bittorrents of old skins games so i have something to watch, since i don't really like most of the shows on tv...

I suppose this offseason seemed shorter than normal because of so many new hirings - coaching staff, players, not to mention Gibbs - so it seemed like there was always skins news to report jan-july, and we even had an extra mini-camp. I'd venture a guess that next year's offseason will be a long one.

What a team Gibbs has assembled!

instead of Wuerffel and Matthews, we have Brunell,
instead of Trung, we have Portis,
instead of Champ, we have Springs and Taylor,
instead of Trotter and Armstead, we have Barrow and M. Washington
instead of Flemister/Chamberlain, we have Rasby/Cooley/Koz/Baxter
instead of deaf Larry Moore, we have Raymer
instead of Chase/Dalton, we have Griffin/Daniels
instead of Spurrier, helton and Edwards, we have Gibbs, Bugs & Williams.

Other than at CB, this team has been upgraded at every position (coaching staff included).

Instead of Bruce Smith, we have guys who don't suppliment their income with a Social Security check.

Sure the start of camp is great, but I'm really looking forward to that HOF game August 9th!

I just realized how close we are to that opening HOF game, Madden '05 won't even be out yet! Wow that's close!
