Re: NFL Europa, World Bowl XV today, Sea Devils or Galaxy
I watched the World Bowl last night - and it was a really enjoyable game. Closer, more exciting and more entertaining than some Super Bowls I've sat through. Casey Bramlet looked really good - poised, mobile and good on the deep passes. I hope we keep him as our third QB and let Todd Collins go.
Bramlet's number one receiver was a guy from the 49ers - Marcus Maxwell - looks really good. He has good size - 6'3" over 200 - looks fast downfield and, like Bramlet, seems to excel on the deep throws. If he doesn't make the 49ers' roster, he'll definitely catch on somewhere in the NFL. A final general comment, I really like the faster clock in NFLE - they have a 35 second play clock and restart the game clock for incompletions and out-of-bounds plays on the setting of the ball - it keeps the game moving at a better pace. |

It was more exciting than alot of SB's that I've watched, and there was alot of scoring before I ever got to see any of the game and overall alot of really good hits & action. And Bramlet to Maxwell was very effective. I hope Bramlet is our #3 if not he will be signed elsewhere. This kid has talent. Overall, what I watched was pretty darn good, a reminder that we are very close to seeing our SKINS go to WAR is just 6 short weeks. HAIL |
