Your 2007 Redskins guarantee
 

Going into training camp, what's one thing you are willing to 'guarantee' about this season? Nothing outrageous like, NFC Champs or 16-0 but something that, homerism aside, you truly believe for '07.

I'm going to guarantee we finish higher than the Giants in the division.

I see us going 10-6 again and making the playoffs. Jason Campbell will make big strides this year. The defense will play better.

I will yell at Gibbs at least once his season for punting on 4th and 2 from the 50 late in the 4th quarter even though we're down by 2.

I guarantee Cooley finally gets the pro-bowl nod he's been deserving for the past two seasons. I'm not saying he'll be the starter because the fan voting is a bunch of BS, but he'll be on the roster. Finally.

I'll provide BBQ for more than 1 Redskins player's parties. I've been told to expect a call from Cornilius Griffin for a party before the season starts at his home here in Virginia. That party will put me on the Redskins Radar.

We'll win the Division.

I'll guarantee:

- Andre Carter will get at least 10 sacks and Phillip Daniels at least 6. GW is turning the ends loose.
- The defense will rank in the bottom 16 against the run.
- The defense will rank in the top 16 in takeaways.

- JC will have a QB rating higher than 85.
- Brandon Lloyd will be a disciplinary problem.
- The offense will rank in the [B]top 3[/B] in rushing.

As for the record? No guarantees, but I think the things I listed above give us a real good shot at playoffs.

Really, I just don't like guarantees -- especially in football. Injuries change everything.

Mark Brunell will be the starter by week 9.
