Wow, lots of stuff going on so far. Honestly, if we could skip preseason, I'd be fine with it.

I think this is the worst week for injurys because guys are just getting back into it for the first time after coming back from the off season.

According to the Dallas Morning News, Greg Ellis said he's thinking about retirement, but he would forfeit a base salary of $2.5 million this season. Ellis has missed the last eight practices as he deals with severe pain in his surgically repaired left Achilles. Ellis would like a restructured contract that would pay him more.

Ouch, I'm currently laughing me butt off at one of my buddy's for drafting both Gore, and Glenn. I hope they both recover for the season, but it's funny how things work out.

that's the reason why you shouldn't have drafts so early in the preseason (unless it's a keeper league or something like that).

If that was Portis, people would be saying he's washed up, his best years are behind him. It wouldn't suprise me if Peterson had a five/six year career.
If that was Portis, people would be saying he's washed up, his best years are behind him. It wouldn't suprise me if Peterson had a five/six year career.
The difference is that Peterson is turning 22 while Portis is 27.

However it wouldn't shock me if AP NEVER reaches the level of achievment Portis already has. I never saw him as a cant miss RB prospect.

True. But I still think Portis is more durable than people are letting on.
