Colts release Corey Simon
It wouldn't be the warpath if there wasn't a thread about an even remotely decent D-lineman on the market...
I'd love to know what was wrong with him last year (weight issues?), but when healthy he is a monster against the run. |

He just turned 30 in March... |
Re: Colts release Corey Simon
he isn't old. but the dude weighs like 463 lbs. no way. pretty much has eaten his way out of the NFL
|
Re: Colts release Corey Simon
I dont see a lot of action on this thread...this guy is a DT right?
Dont we need one? Does he just suck or something? |
Re: Colts release Corey Simon
he has not really produced to much. He has gotten huge and from what I understand from Eagles fans I know he is not much of a worker.

Old and out of shape.:) |
Re: Colts release Corey Simon
The 'Skins don't really need "Big Cheeks" at all. DT was not the MAJOR problem. They need SACKS! Simeon Rice would make more sense to me.

TANK JOHNSON, anybody? anybody?

Well stopping the run is the first step in getting sacks and if you could line up a guy who will demand a double team, that could help the ends. I would not be disappointed at all if they signed him. As far as the guy who said isn't Griffin, Golston, and Montgomery enough? One is injury prone and the other two haven't accomplished anything yet. Simon has been on several good if not great teams. |

Why not? We signed Darrell Russell during the Spurier era. |
