Sounds like he has his head on straight. |
Re: Taylor Talking to Media Again
Taylor was especially curt when asked about former teammate Ryan Clark
Wow I have never heard the word "curt" used in a sports article. Sounds like thesaurus.com was a key source in this article. |
Re: Taylor Talking to Media Again
Sean Taylor CURT!?!?!?
NO!!!! Not the MEAST! lol |
Re: Taylor Talking to Media Again
Taylor was especially curt when asked about former teammate Ryan Clark, who has been credited by teammates and coaches as being a key part of Taylor's development in 2004 and 2005. Clark is now with the Pittsburgh Steelers, whom the Redskins play on Saturday.
Asked what Clark did to help Taylor during their years together, Taylor said: "He did nothing. He played with me. He was a teammate." WOW. I coulda sworn those 2 were REAL close in '05. Maybe ST is pissed he left? |
Re: Taylor Talking to Media Again
Sean Taylor was interviewed by Kelli Johnson (hereafter referred to as K.J.) on Comcast Sportsnet and he is a very affable fellow. He told K.J. she was getting him hot and managed to do it without seeming innappropriate or boorish. You gotta love that.

Re: Taylor Talking to Media Again
these interviews are why he is my favorite player......this guy is a freaking throw back hard ass, you cant find guys in this league like him anymore....he lives it everyday of his life, he is like a 1950s gangster...take his atv's and he busts you in the face with a gun handle....beat your ass up on the football field and talk shit....play hurt all year....not talking to the media for long periods of time....i love it man, this guy is a rare breed hard ass and i cant help but rock his jersey every damn sunday.

Re: Taylor Talking to Media Again
good, now i hope everyone can shut up about this "mystery man" BS. as short and simple as this interview was at least he said something, anything to satisfy people.

so Taylor has reached the pinnacle? please. everyone in the league can get better |
Re: Taylor Talking to Media Again
any player can get better. Taylor like any other player can continue to improve. especially over last year performance.
|
Re: Taylor Talking to Media Again
Its good to hear he's a bit more level-headed. Honestly i love that he is a hard hitter, but to be a better football player he has to IMPROVE in coverage. I think he realizes this (cuz he included "studying harder" as part of his rhetoric) and i hope we can see these results on the field this year. Whoever said that landry will push him is absolutely right, b/c his attention won't be focused on making every tackle and overpursuing. I just hope he doesn't get into an ego battle and try to one-up Landry on the field with those hits.

affable is almost as much as a dapper of a word as curt. Its awsome that ST wants to be the very best he can and have no regrets when hes older about could have done this should have done that. The Pro bowl seems like it really had a great affect on him |
