Will Priest Holmes become a Redskin?
 

Is it possible that Priest becomes a Redskin by week 9 or next season when he's 34? Or sooner? Seems like Edwards doesn't wanna activate him for roster spots if he wasn't ready yet. Also Larry Johnson contract discussions. I say send Priest here!

I think we're good at running back. Priest Holmes or not, we don't need a 34 year old running back that hasn't played in two years because of various injuries.

Why does it seem like the first washed up veteran, former superstar, just got released, just failed a physical, player becomes available, we feel the need to inquire should we bring him in as a Redskin?

Well I for one would love to see Simeon Rice in a Skins uni, and maybe we could get Strahan to be his backup lolol. But yeah I agree with 12thman, some of these are getting ridiculous. It doesn't matter how stacked we are at a position, someone always has to ask if we should pickup another player at that position.

We are fine at RB. We already have guys who know the system. But I will say this. CP needs to get his ass together and play in some pre season games to get ready for the reg season.

Naw, I think CP will be fine even if he doesn't see a snap this year. I wouldn't suprise me at all, if Portis didn't play at all this pre-season; LT isn't.

Here is the difference. LT practices every day. The guy never misses a practice, plus the guy trains. CP has done nothing so far. I don't think CP is going to walk in the first week of the season and ball w/out any preseason work. He ain't Superman.
