Not earth shattering news, but worthy of a post or two I suppose.

This Kendall deal just might work out. The idea of bringing in a 34 yr old guard didn't excite me at first, but the more I listen to this guy, the more I like him. And did any of you see the Jets play the other night; They missed this guy big time.

Anyway, you have to figure we're going after some big time talent in next years draft, and in the long run we saved a lot of money by letting Dockery walk. Perhaps enough to get Cooley and ultimately Sean Taylor signed.

I think we as fans tend to be so short sighted when this player or that player leaves, but the money we potentially freed up by signing a guy like Kendall, who won't be here forever, could have a huge impact on our roster flexibility down the road. He seems
happy to be here too.

In the end, I trust Gibbs and Co., even when it came down to the Marshall release.

Seriously though, it'll be nice if Kendall, Campbell, and Portis can get a few series together Thursday night

It will be nice, he seems ready to go too. I like his fire already.

You know Portis is going to run up this guys ass until they get their timing down. I think if we can tough out the first three games, we'll be fine after that.

I'm really looking for big things against Miami. "Big things popping, little things stopping."

Well, we have to play the WRs and Campbell together. They need to get timing and get some work together. The O-line needs to get some continuity, especially with some different players. Don't push these guys really hard, but get them a little time. Portis honestly has me worried, hopefully he bounces back but in this league you see RBs break down really quick, hopefully that's not the case here.

Does anyone else ever notice that redskins.com is constantly making mistakes? I saw these while skimming the article:

"He is expected to start alongside center Casey Rabach and rookie left tackle Stephon Heyer, who is [B]subbing[/B] for [B]Campbell[/B]."

and this one-

"WWe talked to Todd the other day," Gibbs said during an interview on Redskins Radio earlier this week."

I think it would be cool to work redskins.com. Apparently it's not very hard to get and keep the job!

Hahaha yeah, but they should at least get the players names right.....unless Campbell is gonna be playing tackle now. Maybe there's a surprise position change that we don't know about......
