Jacked Up, DC Style

Lot of huge hits tonight. Anybody got any pics?

* Sellers laying the lumber on that first down rumble
* Yoder dropping Dawkins on another first down catch
* "Lightning Rod" Landry defusing "White Lightning" Kevin Curtis
* A variety of ST21 neck-breakers (one pic in the ST thread)
* Santana with the nice block clearing the way for Jason on that 20yd scramble

yeah i think its a toss up between ST on the completion in the first half, and portis on the pick... that was a hell of a hit...

I'm starting to think that Portis is a safety at heart--he looks to hit people out there!

Great block by Santana--that was a sweet play and almost a TD.

Sellers is a monster. Taylor is a monster. Good to have some hitters! And Laron to win it--sweet.

yeah, JW. I'm starting to wonder if Portis doesn't enjoy INT's! ;)

How about that lick Randle-El laid on Jason Campbell during his scramble?

I think the Portis and the ST hit are the best two. I just get worried everytime Portis lays into someone with that right shoulder, isn't that the one he seperated last season?

Sellers trucking over Dawkins was nice, but Landry with the nice hard tackle to win the game was the best hit of the night.

Great hits throughout the game. ST had two memeroble one's, Portis did as well. Laron's hit at the end was the sweetest. I can't wait for the highlight video!

I'm pretty sure Portis played DB in HS. Also, he was recruited as a defensive player by Florida.

Portis did go both ways at Gainesville High, where I used to teach. And Steve Spurrier wanted to make him a safety, so he went to the U where he could be an HB instead of UF. Oh, the Ol' Ball Coach

This was a great game in all three phases. ST, LL, RM all had some big time hits. I don't know about anyone else, but I certainly see some confidence building ever so slowly.

Re: Jacked Up, DC Style

Maybe a 3 way tie b/n Portis, ST, and LL.

Hey, i'm too lazy but can anyone find the Sellers run over Dawkins last year. That just doesn't get old.
