Re: The Latest Skins Analysis from Dillweed
Holy crap. This dude seriously needs to be signed to a 7 year, $25 million deal to be a Warpath Mod. Great stuff.

Re: The Latest Skins Analysis from Dillweed
I don't understand how he's selecting his +/- numbers. If he says Kendall was a 6/1 and Schneed says 5/2 who's right? Is there a right?

No it's subjective. It's like a judges card in boxing. |
Re: The Latest Skins Analysis from Dillweed
The offensive play breakdown is insane. Nice to see someone chart it like that.
|
Re: The Latest Skins Analysis from Dillweed
Really gives me the information I could only get by watching every play frame by frame...
I like his defensive breakdowns better (he goes more into the schemes) but this one was pretty good. I'll read this after every game. |
Re: The Latest Skins Analysis from Dillweed
i enjoy reading this post every week, thanks 70 chip. i dont agree with it all, alot but not all. sometimes he goes on assumptions or does not take into effect circumstances. i will say this, i enjoyed reading his cover 3 post a couple weeks back, and i know he cant elaborate too much but that kind of cover 3 is the most basic form. i would have liked to see him explain the basic version, then maybe a more complicated version like clouds which could help explain rolling coverages and how you can still play man in the cover 3 scheme. i do appreciate the analysis though, very thorough.

It's pretty impressive to me. I was hoping he would do some more still photo stuff like the cover 3 you mentioned, but maybe there is more to come. I definitely have this guy bookmarked. He provides solid proof of what is otherwise just a general impresion. For instance, it seems to me that Kendall is stomping peoples guts out, and then this analysis gives hard evidence. I like that. I also thought he made a great point about the percentage of balls that Campbell is getting to his WRs as evidence of his field vision and system knowledge. Again, finding the numbers to support a kind of general impression. |
