Where was Springs on 4th down!!!!
 

I know we came out ok but does anyone know why Torrence (listed 3rd on the depth chart) was out there instead of Springs on a crucial situation like that?

That's what I heard too. Leigh Torrence was playing for Springs on the 4th down play I think.

Funny how cramping wasn't really a problem on a much hotter day game against Miami, but it was on a cool night in Philly.

I don't think Springs has had a full game yet. Hopefully there isn't anything else nagging him.

So many different factors can play into cramping. I think the fact that Springs did start and play the entire game (his first full game since what, week 11 last year??) played a huge factor. He played well and I'm sure he's still not in 100% "football shape." Plus Smoot will be back next week so that will ease the workload.

Playing bump and run you have to run a lot more. Plus McNabb's elusive nature keeps the play alive longer which equals more running.

They will be fine this week, and with Smoot coming back as well, we should have all 4 corners to play against the Giants.
