How can we pull it off?
Its great that we go a win, no matter how we did, but lets look into next week; how can we beat New England? What are the keys to our success?
|
Re: How can we pull it off?
I think we would be most successful if we just didn't show up at the stadium :).
But honestly, we need to pressure Brady to even have a chance. I think if we get Marcus Washington back our chances of beating the Patriots greatly go up. You know I hate to say this but we don't stand much of a chance, but neither does the rest of the NFL. The Patriots look like they are the best team assembled since the salary cap was implemented. |
Re: How can we pull it off?
Somehow convince the NFL to change the game to 1pm and not tell the Pats so we can show up anf get a forfiet?

Re: How can we pull it off?
By resting Washington and Rabach I give us a chance, they did the smart thing. Next week you put McCardell into the mix, activate as many DB's as possible and make sure the hurt ones can play, if they can't, then bench them for the week. The key to this game is containing the WR's, Welker is the one to watch, he's their X-factor, we need to get the running game going, Cooley more involved. We need to play with intensity (treat this game like a playoff game). I seriously think that we have a chance, especially after a subpar game by our offense today.

Re: How can we pull it off?
Score points, lots of points! Attack! Attack! and attack some more. Randy Moss won't, can't, out jump ST and I'm sure ST will be playing his best game.

Re: How can we pull it off?
Maybe this has been our plan all along. To make the teams in the NFL think our offense is this weak, pitiful philosophy that can't score more than 14 points a game. Maybe we're holding off to unveil our true offense against New England? :D
Or maybe we'll bring our Redskinettes with us to New England and let them stretch and warm up in front of the Patriots? LOL! |
Re: How can we pull it off?
Our o-line is going to have to play amazing, which I doubt will happen and we need to pressure the crap out of Brady.

Re: How can we pull it off?
score more points than NE and we will win

I ask you, how do we plan to score against their D? |
Re: How can we pull it off?
If we break Tom Brady on the first possession then I think we have a chance. Blitzing Brady may be a mistake but we definitely need to put the pressure on and make his pretty boy ass uncomfortable. We need to put up points as well from our O, no conservative bull shit air the ball out.

Re: How can we pull it off?
Ok we have to blitz Brady. Honestly this is how it works. Either we sit back in coverage and watch him pick us apart, or we blitz him and try to get some pressure in his face to throw off his rhythm.

Re: How can we pull it off?
I have no expectations to see the Skins win next weekend. But I do expect to see New England in a dogfight that they haven't yet seen this year.
I've already put in a bet with someone that we'll stay within 20 points. |
Re: How can we pull it off?
Crush Brady's leg on a nasty sack ala Joey T, bring in McCardell and Caldewell to take over for Llyod and Moss and let the footballs fly nice and deep. Only way we have a chance in Foxboro.

We haven't seen that from Williams all year. Why would you think it will be any different next Sunday? Then again, maybe Williams has been holding his best blitz packages all season long for this very game ... |
Re: How can we pull it off?
Brady is an experienced QB the blitz has to be extremely successful to really work against him.
