Is Jason Campbell Accountable for this Loss?
 

I don't think JC ought to get a free pass, no matter how poorly the offense played in the first half.

He's had the opportunity to win us the last two games, and wasn't up to it. The same dumb throw 3 times in the last two games.

He is responsible for 1 fumble and two picks.

Portis is responsible for 2 fumbles.

And Moss for one.

A free pass? No. I just feel like with a young QB you have to expect picks. It's going to happen. I feel Portis and Moss are much more at fault for this game than Campbell. If we'd stop putting him in this position it wouldn't be that bad.

Moss, Portis, Campbell. Campbell is young and learning the hard way. 2 weeks in a row and 2 critical drives in a row. I still believe in him and this will make him a better QB because of it. Not having Sellers today kind of hurt on the 4th try were Portis was shut down.

two weeks in a row cambell lost the game. three of the six turnovers were his.

I'd still rather see him out there making mistakes, he needs to learn.

And no, I don't put the loss on him. I put a horrendous first half that spotted TB 19 points, a terrible call on 4th on short and some bad passes by Campbell.

As for "the same dumb pass 3 weeks in a row," let's see...a route that where Antwaan invites the corner in front of him, a great play by Ronde to disguise his coverage on another short pass, and a ball he definitely shouldn't have thrown, at least not to Santana Moss. All of them are very different mistakes...

I saw portis and moss fumble too, however not in the second half. Campbell is the face of this offense and should be able to close these games out especially given the opportunities he had. I like him, but yes, i blame him.

Although we had a bad first half, this is the second game in a row that Jason has made bad decisions to loose the game. At the end of the Dallas game he threw 3 bad passes the last one being an interception. I need a drink.

no he is not. joe gibbs is. why in the hell did we not kick the field goal when we were at the three yard line. we can not expect JC to lead us to late game rallies every game. we should of been able to kick the tying field goal and took it to OT. the bucs had no offense all game. yea they were bad throws, but thats not what lost the game. shitty play calling in the first half, and that shitty call on fourth and 1 from the two was a dumb call.

Campbell is responsible for losing it in the final seconds. The entire game loss wasn't his fault, it was a team loss. Like someone else said, Campbell can't keep trying to pull the entire team out of a slouch game after game.

Campbell loses it when we can win... so from this aspect yes ALOT of it falls on him

seems like he always throws to the first option, no matter if the receiver is double or triple covered, he lost this game today. he's looking like an average inconsistent career backup, remember patrick ramsey.
