It's Firing Season

It's almost that time of the year when awful coaches get pink slips. Who's getting fired?

I pick Rams' coach Scott Linehan as a sure bet.

If Parcells is smart he would keep him.

Re: It's Firing Season

i wouldnt fire him but if i was Herm Edwards that Baltimore Raven job that would open once Billick is fired would look pretty good.

Mike Nolan, John Fox, Scott Linehan could and probably should all get fired. I wouldn't have kept Marvin Lewis either. He's a defensive genius but his defense is continuously poor. He has a bunch of troublemakers on the team (who he played a huge part in selecting, if not the final say), and TJ and Chad are supposedly getting into locker room arguments with Palmer. Lots of wasted talent there

Billick, Cameron, Coughlin, John Fox and Marvin Lewis. Linehan gets another well-deserved shot because they are the only team with worse injuries than us and I don't think he has gotten enough of a shot yet. Cameron because Tuna will want someone he has worked with (Carthon, Coughlin, Groh or Chris Palmer).

I think Fox should be given another chance due to the same reason as Linehan (lots of key injuries, especially the one the hurts the most, DelHomme)

Bulger, Holt, and Jackson all had issues even verbal blowouts with Linehan. It's possible he's lost the team

I think all but Lewis will get fired.. Also Cameron and don't be surprised if Childress gets fired also.. The brief win streak seemed to stave off the vultures, but getting blown out at home and if they lose next week I think he's gone..

As much as I dislike Coughlin ,depending on his playoffs maybe nobody gets canned.Fox is safe as are all the first year coachs, maybe Billich.I say 0-4 coachs at the most.

Re: It's Firing Season

Fox? Panthers would be stupid to fire him. There has to be just cause to fire a coach and I see none with Fox's situation what it is.

They fired Henning last season b/c of the stagnant offense and it was worse this year. THere are tons of empty seats at Bank of America and those that show up usually leave in the 3rd quarter. They are 6-10 @ home the past two seasons (8-7 on the road w/ a trip to TB this weekend). And how can anyone not have a #2 QB on the roster at the beginning of the season? They have a top 5 DLine, solid LB's and a good secondary yet the defensive minded Fox doesn't have them in the top half in almost any defensive category. I'm actually suprised if Fox isn't fired Sunday afternoon and told to find his own way back from Tampa.
